Each month, San Marin Performing Arts recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding dedication, leadership, creativity, and a positive impact within our performing arts community. Congratulations to this month's honorees!
We are thrilled to recognize Cami Cabrera as a San Marin Music Student of the Month. Cami has proven to be an invaluable asset to our music program, participating in numerous groups, including jazz choir, rock band, musical theater, and jazz combo. Her recent downtown Novato performance with the jazz combo at the School Fuel Tour of Novato showcased her authentic flair as she sang in Spanish and shared her magical voice with our local community. Cami’s beautiful artistry and dedication enrich every group she is part of. Congratulations, Cami!
We are proud to recognize Georgia Starn as a San Marin Music Student of the Month. Georgia’s unwavering dedication and hard work in string orchestra and jazz band over the past three years have made a significant impact on our program. Her commitment shone brightly when she stepped in on trumpet with the concert band and accompanied the group at the CMEA Festival. Georgia continues to excel in her musical efforts while navigating classroom challenges with resilience. Way to go, Georgia!
We are honored to recognize Story Ng as a San Marin Music Student of the Month. A true gem in our music program, Story has dedicated four incredible years to groups including rock band, musical theater, and jazz choir. She organized the senior song, performed at every event, received a 2026 Sara Bareilles Award nomination, and starred in every musical—leaving an indelible mark on our community. As Story heads to Berklee College of Music in Boston, we wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Story, we can’t wait for the world to hear your beautiful voice!
