The Addams Family Comes to San Marin This Fall
San Marin Performing Arts is kicking off the 2026–27 season with The Addams Family, a delightfully spooky musical coming to the Emily Gates Performing Arts Center this October
Just in time for Halloween, this family-friendly production brings the famously eccentric Addams family to the stage in a story filled with humor, heart, memorable music and plenty of wonderfully macabre fun.
In The Addams Family, Wednesday Addams has grown up—and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a perfectly “normal” family. When she invites him and his parents to dinner, Wednesday asks Gomez to keep a secret from Morticia, setting off a hilarious chain of events that turns one unforgettable evening upside down.

Auditions

Students interested in performing in The Addams Family are invited to audition, whether they’re longtime performers or stepping onto the San Marin stage for the first time.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals begin the following week and are typically held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–9:00 PM and Sundays from 1:00–5:00 PM at the Emily Gates Performing Arts Center.

Students interested in the technical side of the production can also learn more at the Musical Theater Tech Class meeting on Wednesday, August 26, from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Emily Gates Performing Arts Center.
