Set in New York City’s East Village, RENT: School Edition follows a group of young artists and friends as they navigate love, loss, creativity, and the struggle to build meaningful lives in the face of uncertainty. Inspired by Puccini’s La Bohème, Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking musical celebrates friendship, community, and the choice to live fully in the moment.

With an unforgettable score featuring songs including Seasons of Love, La Vie Bohème, and Take Me or Leave Me, the production brought together San Marin’s actors, musicians, and technical theater students for a powerful and deeply collaborative spring musical.
