A heartfelt and hilarious musical comedy, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee follows six quirky young competitors as they face off in a high-stakes regional spelling bee. As each student steps up to the microphone, the audience gets a glimpse into their hopes, insecurities, families and fiercely competitive personalities. With plenty of unexpected humor, audience participation and memorable songs, the show celebrates individuality, resilience and the idea that sometimes growing up means learning there is more to life than winning.
