Classical & Jazz Ensembles Close the Year in Concert
San Marin High School musicians closed the school year with two nights of performances featuring classical and jazz ensembles, special guests, senior recognition, and community participation.
On May 28 and 29, 2026, San Marin Music presented its end-of-year Classical and Jazz Spring Concerts at the Emily Gates Performing Arts Center.
Thursday evening’s classical concert brought together the String Orchestra, Concert Band, and Concert Choir. The program also welcomed choir students from Sinaloa Middle School, creating a special opportunity for younger musicians to perform alongside San Marin High School students.
On Friday, the jazz ensembles took the stage for an energetic evening featuring Jazz Band, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo, and Jazz Choir. The concert also included a special performance by graduating seniors, followed by a heartfelt recognition of the students completing their final year in the program.
A parent performance added another memorable element to the evening and reflected the strong sense of community surrounding San Marin Music. Keepsake posters were also created for the graduating seniors to commemorate their years in the program.
Thank you to the families, friends, teachers, volunteers, and community members who attended and supported our student musicians. The enthusiasm of the audience helped make both concerts a meaningful celebration of the students’ talent, dedication, and artistic growth.
