Jazz Choir Performs at CMEA Choral Festival
San Marin High School’s Jazz Choir participated in the Vocal Music Regional CMEA Choral Festival at Marin School of the Arts, joining student ensembles from across the region for performance, adjudication, and sight-reading.
On May 21, 2026, San Marin High School’s Jazz Choir attended the CMEA Bay Section Choral North Festival at the Center for the Arts at Marin School of the Arts.
The festival gave students the opportunity to perform for professional adjudicators, showcase their preparation and musicianship, and receive constructive feedback from experienced judges. In addition to their adjudicated performance, students participated in a sight-reading assessment designed to strengthen ensemble skills and musical confidence.
Organized by the California Music Educators Association, the regional festival brings together middle and high school vocal ensembles for a day of performance, evaluation, and musical growth.
