Malakhi Lindsay Honored with Inspirational Student Achievement Award
Senior Malakhi Lindsay was recognized at the 2026 Novato Inspirational Student Achievement Awards for exemplifying the qualities of the Novato Unified School District Graduate Profile.
On May 4, 2026, San Marin Music senior Malakhi Lindsay was honored at the Novato Inspirational Student Achievement Awards ceremony, held at the Novato High School campus.
Presented annually in partnership with the Novato Chamber of Commerce, the NISA Awards recognize two students in grades 5, 8, and 12 from each school who demonstrate the district’s six Graduate Profile competencies: Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, Character, and Citizenship.
Malakhi was selected for the dedication, leadership, creativity, and commitment he has consistently demonstrated throughout his time at San Marin High School. His contributions to the music program and the broader school community reflect the spirit of the award and the values it celebrates.
This recognition honors more than a single accomplishment. It acknowledges students who inspire others through the way they learn, collaborate, communicate, contribute to their communities, and approach challenges with character.
