Music Department Celebrates Tour of Novato Success

The San Marin Music Department raised more than $3,200 through the 2026 Tour of Novato, with support from donors and a performance by the Jazz Combo.

On May 9, 2026, the San Marin Music Department participated in the annual Tour of Novato, raising more than $3,200 to support student music programs.

After seven years of dedicated participation, VAPA Program Specialist Kris Starn earned first place in fundraising for the 2026 event. Her remarkable effort—and the generosity of every donor who supported the campaign—will directly benefit our students and help create meaningful opportunities for musical growth and artistic success.

Our talented Jazz Combo also took the main stage, where Alex, Bella, Cami, Eli, and Miro delivered a wonderful performance. A huge thank-you to Ms. McIvor for arranging the opportunity, and bravo to our students for representing the program so beautifully.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, participated, and cheered us on. Your support reflects a shared belief in the importance of music and the arts at San Marin High School.
